  • $n=1\to$ non-cooperative
  • $0<n<1$ negatively cooperative
  • $n>1\to$ positively cooperative
• Describes protein cooperativity

• $v_{\text{max}}$ is the max reaction velocity
• $K_m$ is the Michaelis constant
• $[S]$ is the substrate concentration
