Auxillary Field
#Physics
Magnetic field arising from free current alone. Analogous to electric displacement for magnetostatics
$\displaystyle \vec{H}=\frac{1}{{\mu}{0}}\vec{B}-\vec{M}=\frac{\vec{B}}{{\mu}{0}(1+\chi_{b})}=\frac{\vec{B}}{\mu}$
- $\displaystyle {\mu}_{0}$ is the magnetic constant
- $\displaystyle \vec{B}$ is the magnetic field
- $\displaystyle \vec{M}$ is the magnetization
- $\displaystyle \chi_{b}$ is the magnetic susceptibility of the material
- $\displaystyle \mu$ is the permeability of the material
