TMS
#Chemistry
[Si](/docs/c)(C)(C)C
Similar in structure to TMSCl. $\displaystyle \ce{C-H}$ bonds are quite nonpolar. Used as a reference in NMR. The $\displaystyle \ce{H}$'s in TMS are very shielded due to $\displaystyle \ce{Si}$ being less electronegative than $\displaystyle \ce{C}$.
