Max Reaction Velocity

The maximum rate at which all the enzymes in the reaction convert the substrate to the product form

$v_{\text{max}}=k_2[E_{\text{tot}}]$

• $k_2$ is the reaction speed of $\mathrm{ES}\to \mathrm{E}+\mathrm{P}$
• $[E_{\text{tot}}]$ is the total enzyme concentration in the reaction
